● 3D Model Data Organization using Navisworks software is the primary responsibility
for a VDC Data Engineer, which involves organizing models into highly detailed
search sets based on proprietary tracking methods. Data mapping from model meta
data will also be completed using Modelyze Labs plugin utilities.
● Floorplan Importing – Utilize AutoCAD to import and process project floor plan
drawings for use in internal web-based dashboards.
● Zoning – Create 3D zoning models to match project zone plans using AutoCAD and
Navisworks 3D plugin utilities.
● Model Data Verification – Verify organized data in prepared models imports correctly
into internal databases and validate model visuals using internal visualization tools.

Technology (or) 3-4 years of experience in managing VDC detailing work from Pre-
construction through Construction phases of commercial construction
● Proficiency in Navisworks coordination and management, with a strong focus on
search set creation
● Experience working on data center, hospital, or biopharmaceutical projects
● Proficiency in BIM Design and Analysis tools like Revit and AutoCAD
● Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Drive (Sheets)
● Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate
effectively
● Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills. Able to focus on
completing primary objectives and any secondary objectives while remaining flexible
and able to use good judgment to respond to changing field conditions. Able to safely
lift and carry up to 40lbs of equipment throughout the workday.
